How Content Is Created
All content on VoltCalcs is written and maintained by Dan Dadovic, Commercial Director at Ezoic Inc. & PhD Candidate in Information Sciences. Content creation is AI-assisted — AI tools help with drafting and research — but every piece is reviewed, edited, and verified by Dan before publication.
Calculator formulas are based on standard electrical and energy engineering equations. Electrical calculations reference the National Electrical Code (NEC/NFPA 70) and IEC standards. Battery data draws from Battery University and manufacturer datasheets. Solar calculations use data from NREL PVWatts. Educational content also draws from Dan's hands-on experience with residential solar installation, DIY battery bank construction, off-grid power systems, and wind power.
Accuracy and Limitations
We strive for accuracy, but all calculator results are theoretical estimates. Real performance depends on factors no calculator can fully model — temperature, battery age, component quality, and installation conditions.
Dan is not a licensed electrician or certified solar installer. Content reflects practical experience and research, not professional engineering credentials. For critical or permitted electrical work, always consult a licensed professional. See the full disclaimer and about page for more details.
Updates and Corrections
Content is reviewed and updated regularly. Every page shows a "Last updated" date reflecting when the content was last meaningfully changed. If you find an error or outdated information, please report it via the contact form — corrections are made promptly.
Independence
VoltCalcs is independently owned. No manufacturer, retailer, or brand has editorial influence over the calculators or content. Product references (when they appear) are for practical context, not paid promotion.
